''Le Chalet Blanc'' a horse stable in Summer, lies along the path from the top of the St.Luc funicular. During the Summer the pastureland around here (Alpage de Rouaz ) is also still used for grazing cattle , notably the local race of Val d’Herens. In Winter the Chalet Blanc is at a crossroads of ski paths with the Touno mountain (3018m) an imposing backdrop. The origin of the name Touno, (once called Tono), was a familiar form of the name Antoine.
St.Luc is a village at 1655m in the Val d’Anniviers, Switzerland.
